One summit. Every generation of the Boettcher community.
The day at a glance
This year’s Service Summit pairs practical learning with meaningful work. The Boettcher community will gather with Eco-Cycle in Boulder to examine how local recycling systems keep materials in use, hear Colorado perspectives on environmental stewardship, and put that learning into action through a book-sorting service project.
The day moves from conversation to facility tours to hands-on service, then closes with an alumni lunch and reception. It is a chance to understand the system behind everyday choices, make a concrete contribution together, and spend unhurried time with Scholars, alumni, families, and community partners.

Why we gather
The Summit connects systems-level learning with a concrete act of service: sorting books so Eco-Cycle can determine what can be reused and what should be recycled.
